What is SuccessLink? Mark Yehle, Director

SuccessLink is grant funded by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and identifies, recognizes, and disseminates “best teaching practices” to teachers and administrators in Missouri. We use the following programs to do this.

Technology Leadership Academy TLA 6 held it's opening session Friday, January 14, at Tan-Tar-A with Alan November and Tony Vincent giving Key Note addresses. The follow-up workshops will be held at your local RPDC. Call Lisa with any questions or email her at lisa@successlink.org

Cooperative Learning Cooperative Learning is one of the most researched educational innovations in history and it has been proven to be effective in helping students retain more information, improve their self-esteem, and reduce conflicts. Emergency Awareness/Preparedness $50 per hour is available for teachers who submit approved lessons and a work log showing time put in. Lessons must contain an extension which relates to emergency awareness and preparedness. Other incentives are also available, e-mail Tem at tem@successlink.org for more information.

SuccessLink Science Schools throughout the State of Missouri are working toward aligning their curriculum to the new Science GLES. SuccessLink Science is collecting sample curriculum from schools who are willing to share their work. Also, check out the SunShIP Project and don't forget about SuccessLink Science In-Services.

Proven Practices for Student Success Each year we receive a number of nominations for our Proven Practices Award. A review panel carefully screens these nominations and selects practices that have had the most impact and have the potential for having statewide impact as Proven Practice Award Winners.
